This 1-hour interactive online course describes guidelines developed by the New York City Department of Health for assessment and remediation of indoor mold contamination. The guidelines are based on a review of the literature regarding fungi and the comments of a review panel composed of microbiology and health science experts.
The goal of this course is to provide background knowledge and guidelines for environmental evaluation and intervention for indoor fungus contamination. The course should be useful to building engineers, managers, consultants, health professionals, and others who are concerned about fungal contamination.
